Frequently Asked Questions

The Notestr App allows users to use either an iPhone or an Android device.

There is a 1,000 word limit for the length of Service Notes.  Caregivers, however, will be required to enter a minimum of 250 words for each note to adequately document services provided and meet regulatory and Maintenance Care Organization (MCO) requirements.

Internet access is initially required to log into the app.   The app, however, can be used when no Internet Service is available at the residence of a client.  In this case, Notes added and Overnight logs completed are stored temporarily on a Caregiver's phone and then synched up to the NotesTr server once Internet access is reestablished.

Internet service, when available, is accessed via Wi-Fi access or through an active cellular service connection that allows access to the Internet.

Notestr voice support is provided during normal Eastern Standard Time busines hours.

Organization administrators log into the Notestr Portal to read submitted notes and view Overnight Check-In Logs.

The App uses very little battery power when compared to app solutions used daily like Chat and Email.
